Christine Vaughan MSW RSW

With over 20 years of experience as a clinical social worker, Christine is dedicated to supporting individuals, couples and families as they navigate mental health challenges and work toward emotional and psychological well-being. Christine’s approach is rooted in helping her clients achieve their fullest potential in alignment with their personal values.

Christine holds a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) and is trained in a range of therapeutic modalities. Her expertise includes Emotion Focused Skills Training (EFST), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Christine also brings training and experience in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Mindfulness techniques to her practice. Christine remains committed to ongoing professional development to ensure she provides the most effective support possible for her clients.

In addition to working with clients in private practice, Christine worked in a hospital setting at McMaster Hospital for 15 years.

In addition to her clinical practice, Christine is passionate about giving back to the community. She has been actively involved in supporting newcomers in Hamilton and played a key role in establishing a shelter for refugee claimants.

Christine is a licensed social worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and a proud member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers.
